Guns, Food, Trampoline, and Pool

We went to go hang out with Jake's parents and little sisters last Saturday. We always love to hang out with them. They kind-of live out in the woods... which makes it even that much more cool to go and hang out with them.

Everett fell asleep on the way out there, so we took advantage and did a little target shooting (on the old chicken house door).

Since I haven't shot a gun in YEARS I thought I did pretty good. Oh yeah!

How many pictures does a girl need holding a gun!?... apparently three because it makes you look cool!

We had some crazy good sausage/hamburger burgers with guacamole and sautéed onions... YUM! and then Everett had a blast on the trampoline and in the pool.

He was being so crazy and throwing himself all over the place... I see a trampoline in our future... one with lots of nets and padding!

His feet were so dirty from the trampoline but nothing a little swim in the pool couldn't wash off :)

The pool was a little chili at first but he warmed up pretty quickly.

Jake kept trying to get him to kick his legs under water but he didn't really get it... so Jake told him to "run" and he got the hang of it right away. It was so funny.

He was in the pool with just his trunks on and after about 20 minutes he kept trying to get out of the pool really fast. I lifted him out and put him on the grass. Turns out he just needed to take a leak because he wanted right back in the pool when he was done... I had no idea he was aware of the no peeing in the pool rule :)

Later we all sat around the fire, told jokes, stories, laughed, and then had some pineapple upside down cake that his little sisters made. Holy cow it was soooo good. I didn't get a picture of is because I was way to busy stuffing my face with it. Oh man!

Good times, good times.
