The first time I went to Disneyland was when I was in 1st grade. It's a little ironic that Everett is in the 1st grade too :)
Disneyland was decorated for Fall/October/Halloween and it was pretty cool.
There were so many people. We kind-of got scooted into and through the castle and ended up riding the teacups first.
Everett, our navigator, was headed to toon town...
We hopped on the first ride we saw. It may have been a little too much for Breckie :)
We only saw 4 characters all week but the kids weren't even interested... so I guess that was 4 less lines we had to stand in. Again, with all of the people EVERYWHERE!!! we found our way up into Tarzan's treehouse.
We had some fast passes so the Berner's were able to at least ride a few rides. We hung out on Mark Twain's boat for a few minutes. It was nice to get out of the way and find some shade. The boat and the train weren't running because they are building Star Wars land and have to change a few things.
I kept trying to find rides we could all go on because I felt guilty leaving Roxy with the Grandparents (even though they swore a thousand times they didn't mind). We went on a jungle boat ride that was HILARIOUS.
It was one of my favorites actually.
The kids were positive that they wanted their one souvenir to be the stuffed animals in the shop when you get off the ride. I guess they liked the ride too :)
We all got to go on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride too which was really fun.
Before leaving Disneyland Jake and I got to ride Space Mountain again and the picture of Jake is perfect :)
We got to see the character parade at California Adventure.
Karl suggested that we go to a little show where Crush (from Finding Nemo) talks to the kids. It was another favorite from the day because Crush talked to both Everett and Karl and it was pretty cute.
We spent the rest of the evening in Cars Land.
Roxy went home with Grandma and Grandpa so we took Everett and Breckie back over to Disneyland and stayed there (gasp) until 10.
