Farm In November

We were on our way to get Roxy's ears pierced when we passed Schnepf farms and saw that they were having a little shindig. We're always looking for ways to be entertained for free 😀

So we turned around and went to the farm.
One friendly, old guy showed the kids how cornmeal used to be made.

It was pretty cool and we even got to take home a little baggie of it.

I've always been a little fascinated by farm life and antiques so I especially enjoyed it. It's crazy how hard every day life/chores used to be.

There was a tractor pull going on.

And then we headed over to the corn maze that was left over from the October festivals.

The farther we made it into the farm, the more fun stuff we found.

It was fun. The fun ended when we went to the mall. The masses of people, complaining, and crying babies...  but hey, Roxy shouldn't be confused for a boy anymore with her earrings, so it's all good :)
