Everett ended up in our bed at 4 am because he couldn't sleep. But eventually we all made it until 7:30. We knew that if we let the kids open presents before church... it would be a cry fest to get them ready and there.
So Jake made up omlets, we got ready, and took one of my favorite pictures ever. It's gorgeous!
I feel so bad, I accidentally stepped on Everett's foot before the picture so he had red eyes.
Church was great. We just took the sacrament and then sang Christmas hymns. Since Everett can read, he sang them too and it made my heart so happy. Plus, Roxy was sleeping in her carseat so all was well :)
We opened presents as soon as we got home.
Santa finally got Everett Lego Dimensions that he's been asking for.. for like 15 months...
Breckie asked for a pink "bulldozer" from Santa but she really meant the pink tractor she saw at Tractor Supply.
Everett said something so witty and funny and Jake and I thought it was hilarious.
We're so thankful for all the grandparents that remembered Roxy. She actually got some pretty legit stuff... we didn't get her anything 🙈
We had a really great day. The kids got to ride their bikes and Breckie surprised us by doing much better than we expected. Hopefully she'll be up to speed in no time!
We had a very Merry Christmas!
