I Smell Insanity

We moved into our new house on Saturday and life has been a little ugly, crazy, STINKY, exciting, stressful, and very exhausting. Everett went to Grandma's house today so that I could clean the house we moved out of. I spent 8 straight hours cleaning and I feel like I could pass out at any moment. I'm so exhausted. But that house is sparkling clean now and I can check it off of my to-do list. We've done a little to the new house already. I would love to share pictures but we don't have secure internet access right now and my borrowed access won't let me upload pictures... maybe in a few days. P.S. the previous owners had a dog and all of the carpets (except for Everett's room and the office) smell like wet dog/stinky feet. We had the carpets professionally cleaned before we moved in (which helped) but the smell still haunts me. We even bought a new vacuum that is supposed to be good at sucking up dog hair/odor. I plan on stopping by the pet store and ask...

We Love Beans

Sawyer --> Soybeans --> Beans. A.K.A. Stink Bean, Beaner, Beaner Wiener, Beanie, Beanie Wienie, Beanie Baby...  whatever you want to call him, we love him. We went out to water the raspberries this afternoon and Everett got a hold of the hose before I could. I knew it was going to be good... so I ran and got the camera:  Everett would alternate between filling up the watering can and spraying Sawyer.... but don't worry, Sawyer liked it! Everett was too busy to look up... Everett spraying Sawyer's twinkie toes: I was laughing so hard while taking these pictures (and they were too). These two boys are so funny and they make the perfect friends. If you want a good laugh, just watch the video. SO FUNNY! Beanie was drenched by the end of the video. He is such a good friend to Everett. We love Beans!

The Fair 2011

Jake and I went to the fair last Saturday night with some friends. We had a great time... but the entire time I felt so guilty because I knew Everett would've loved it. So we went back tonight and brought Everett with. We went to see the 4-H dogs first. Everett loves animals, especially dogs. He kept reaching out to pet them and he said his first word... dog. What a shocker. He said it over and over and it was so cute. We went to see the horses next. One was even named Jake! (Right outside of the horse stalls, ha ha!) Jake and Everett even got to pet some sheep and pygmy goats. (His fingers crack me up! They are so long!) We passed by the giant corn and sunflowers on the way to see the pigs. These little piggies were only 10 days old. (Poor Momma pig. I can't even imagine.) We were getting pretty hungry.... for BACON... just kidding... so we decided to head over to Earthquake Jake Burgers. We've heard so much about these burge...
