Birthday Girls

Zion and Breckie are only 5 days apart and Zion's mom happens to be a photographer… so she did a little BFF photoshoot of the two birthday girls! These pictures are priceless.  The one on the left is one of my favorites. Breckie LOVES to flip through books.  And she is always sitting just like this! The upper right picture is pretty much my favorite picture ever.  These were taken on Zion's birthday (March 6th) and I was so bummed because I didn't think Breckie smiled for a single picture so I went home and took these . Turns out she did smile for a few but I love all of the other pictures even more. They are SO Breckie. Cute, sweet, curious, serious, concerned… I LOVE them!

Playing

Even though it's completely exhausting and such hard work, I couldn't imaging being a mom to these cute little people without playing with them like I do.  I know this stage in my life won't last forever (which I am so grateful for :) so I am more than happy to build a hundred sand castles just to be stomped on and go for bike rides and scooter rides and play Mr. Potato Head and Cars and Playdoh… and since Breckie got a tea set for her birthday, Everett is all about playing "food" and it's adorable.  Some days I do wish I were the mom that could sit on the park bench and watch her kids play or to just tell them to "go play" but for the most part I'm glad I'm right there playing with them... because they won't be this little forever.

Funny Boys

Who knew stinky socks and smacking yourself in the face could be so entertaining for little boys!

She's Trouble

Breckie has 12 teeth, sleeps with the sun, has an attitude, and likes to play in the toilet.  And climb on stuff. She even climbed up on the chair and sat down.  She loves to leave a little trail of messes wherever she goes.  And if you leave her alone for two seconds she'll find something to destroy.  She also likes to walk and brush her teeth at the same time and go down the slide by herself.  She's trouble… and I have a feeling this is only the beginning!

While You Were Gone

Jake, you were gone for 3 days so I just wanted to fill you in on all that happened.  Everett: Watched Frozen 5 times Peed in our bed And was really naughty at times Breckie: Puked in the kitchen Stuck her hand in her poopy diaper And refused to go to bed one night I: Decided two kids is plenty Want to throw out all of the baby stuff Need a vacation And to pay you back for missing out on all the fun, Breckie puked allllllll over you (and Everett) in church today. So I brought the kids home like this: Welcome home :)

Spooooon

It's fun to plug in Jake's phone and see the pictures he's taken :)
