Brecklyn's 6 Pictures

Spring Break was pretty packed with activities... one of those being Breckie's birthday. I ended up taking her pictures a few days late, but honestly I'm impressed we even got them done! I'm so glad we got them done. These are my favorite pictures to look back on. Here's the beautiful little thing! She LOVES drawing, figuring out how to spell words and still crafts on a daily basis. She is brave and social. Very messy! She learned how to ride her bike without training wheels a few weeks before her birthday. She is fun, talks a lot, likes to eat meat and bacon, and has super stinky feet on P.E. days :) She is quickly turning into a lady. She likes to paint her fingernails and wants makeup! We love her guts and don't know what we'd do without her! Or this little lady :) I'm excited to take her 3 year pictures soon!

My Other, Other Job

With the kids on Spring Break, I thought I could get a few things done at my dad's house and not have to coordinate how the kids would be safe after school.  Turns out, having them come with me was so much worse.  On the bright side, I was able to get enough done that the suffering we all did was worth it. We have too much going on right now but that's been the trend in our lives for a while now 😅

Breckie Turns 6!

We are always so exited for our birthdays around here.  This year Breckie had a kitty birthday party. She planned it so well. She wanted everyone to get a beeny boo kitty, make a house for it, make a kitty mask, kitty ears, and a kitty blanket. Then decorate cupcakes and open presents.  And that's exactly what we did! It was a really cute party! She felt so special all day and really looked forward to her party.  Bella (the tallest one) stayed after the party. It started to rain and they played in the rain, then we went to sonic and then stopped by a park on the way home. It rained again and we all played in the rain. I'm sure Breckie will remember it for a long time!

Slot Canyon

I have no idea if this is actually called "slot canyon" but that's what it was referred to as so.... We went back the next morning (since it was raining the first time we tried to come by).  I think it was the kids' highlight of the trip. It was really cool. Just red rocks everywhere that you could climb and explore.  There is this long, super skinny "slot" that you climb up and through.  Breckie breezed right through it but it took a few minutes for the rest of us! On the way back to the cars Jake found a little bat and the kids loved it.  They all slept a little on the way home that afternoon :)

Zion Nation Park

The next day we went to Zion National Park. It was a super pretty day.  Jake and I are the most amazing parents and forgot to pack diapers. By some miracle we found ONE in the truck.  We all got dressed warm and got on the tram. We stopped by Emerald Falls (I think, I can't actually remember) and did a short, easy hike to the falls.  It was super cool (and wet and muddy).  The overspray was insane! The Olsens and us. I didn't get a picture of the Bakers.  We all left our lunches in the car but decided to press on to Angels Landing.  A longer, more intense hike.  The kids pooped out about half way so the Bakers volunteered to take the kids back to the tram so the rest of us could hike the rest of the way.  I am SO glad they let us hike the rest. It was amazing! It was so so so so beautiful and chilly and perfect! I...
