Crowds

Every November there is a country fair at the high school field. It's nice because it's free, games for the kids, and it's finally not so hot at night.  We went but Jake had just gotten home that afternoon after being in Baltimore for 3 days... so I was a little worn out of begin everything to the kids. The crowds and chaos were too much for me so I ended up walking home and letting Jake have a turn alone with the kids ;)

Sisters

Breckie and Roxy have had sleepovers in each others rooms/beds and it is the sweetest thing.  I checked on them one night before going to bed and found them as close as sister could be.

Twister

I LOVE playing games, board games, card games... and I get excited anytime we can play together as a family. Twister is one that all the kids like :)

Braids

Roxy finally has enough hair to make cute little braids! 🙌

Sass Monkey

Roxy is our little monkey FULL of sass. Sometimes her sass just slaps you right in the face and catches you off gurad! She really is so hilarious and she's also very independent :)

Anxious Student

Since starting school again after Fall break, Breckie has been having a lot of anxiety about going to school. She complains that her tummy hurts all of the time and she has been crying and really emotional at school lately.  I've had several conversations with Breckie and her teacher but it's still a bummer she feels this way. Once we cross the crosswalk and near the school, she tells me her tummy hurts and it feels like the first day of school again :( *she checked out Dear Girl from her school library and adores the book! She slept in our bed with me when Jake was at the dunes. I thought it was cute she wanted to keep me company... but then it turned into her not wanting to sleep in her bed alone once Jake got back. She slept with Roxy in Roxy's bed for a few nights after that. I thought it was adorable but wished Breckie wasn't so nervous to be alone.  She has gotten a little better about sleeping alone now but we are still working on the school pa...
