Bear Lake

After we were home for about 10 days we went camping. Just the four of us. We  drove up to the rim past Payson and camped near Bear Lake.  It was gorgeous up there. Mountains and cooler temperatures and the same forests I remember camping in as a kid. It was perfect.  We left on a Friday after Everett got out of school and it was getting pretty dark by the time we found a campsite… so we totally had to set up camp in the dark. We roasted some delicious brats by the fire (and Everett & Breckie had hot dogs… I'm really loving that Everett is eating, whoop whoop!!) As soon as Everett ate his dinner he wanted to go to bed! Everett went camping with Jake for the father/son campout a few months ago and Jake said he did the same thing… he just wanted to go to bed as soon as it got dark. We had to talk him into staying up long enough to make a s'more! Breckie was a total nightmare… literally. She wouldn't sleep and other campsites were blaring...

Breckie Turns 1.5

Earlier this month Breckie turned 1 1/2 so we had to get some pictures of her and her little personality!  I'm so in love with all of them… I can't pick a favorite!  So happy to have this little girl in my life! *P.S. It's like a dream come true to hear her talk. She is like a little mocking bird and repeats everything we say. It's hilarious and adorable and makes my heart so, so happy.

Family Pictures & Coming HOME

The last few days of our trip were probably not the best… although we did get some pretty awesome family pictures.  Breckie got sick the moment we got back from Portland. She was up all night again, fevers and puking etc.  By Tuesday she seemed to be mostly better which was good because we were flying home the next day.  4 (out of 5) of Jakes sisters live in WA and the one that didn't came for a visit (with her husband) so we planned on doing a big, huge, giant family picture.  It was crazy town.  Luckily we got a few of just the four of us before the real craziness began.  These are definitely the best two family pictures :) And I LOVE LOVE LOVE these next two! Amber's family... Megan's family and Mariah's family... And then the whole family... I'm so glad we were able go get a good picture of everyone!  We said our goodbyes and then the next day we endured anot...

Tayne & Lucy's Reception

Saturday morning went like this: Downtown, clouds, rain, downpour, smeared mascara, I don't care, lets get Waffle Window.  It NEVER gets old. And just for the record, we had already eaten continental breakfast at the hotel AND we filled an entire 10-punch punchcard at the Waffle Window AND 4 of those waffles were the Dark Secret. No joke.  We walked around town for a bit and then got ready for the "wedding" which was really just going to be one big celebration minus the vows since they technically got married the evening before.  I am beyond grateful that they got married the evening before because we were AN HOUR late to the reception. We got lost twice and even prior to that my mom's curling iron exploded (for real) and I almost died. True story. Glad I'm alive.  Their reception was at a gorgeous Rhododendron garden in Portland.  Our classic butt shot. We have at least twenty throughout t...
