A Touch Of Tyrell

Yesterday we took Montana and Lucy to the airport. On the way home we stopped by several places I've been wanting to see. First we went to a nursery and checked out the fruit trees. Then we went to a place called Schnepf Farms. We drive past it every day and I've read a little about it online but we've never actually stopped there. So we stopped.  It was really cool. They have SOOOOO much stuff. We didn't even get to see most of the farm but we checked out the country store... the train... and the U-pick garden. Pretty awesome if you ask me. I'm certain I will go back with the kids soon to check out more and pick some veggies. There's nothing like farm fresh veggies... and it's less than 10 minutes from our house.   I also wanted to check out the regional park near us. It's only 10 minutes from our house too... but in the other direction.  There are lots of hiking and biking trails and ...

I finally decided that Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday.  My favorite sister and Lucy came so it was doubly awesome.  Montana and Lucy got here on Wednesday and Kelly and my Dad were visiting for the evening so we all hung out...  ...played in the backyard... ...and then went to an all-you-can-eat Asian buffet. Classic. And very classy :) Thanksgiving morning Jake and Montana ran the Turkey Trot 10K in Mesa. They didn't run together but finished a minute apart from each other. While they were gone Lucy prepped everything for turkey dinner and Everett and I made pies.  Then we 'played' some games while Breckie napped and Lucy studied for her finals next week. I had one of those moments of pure gratitude. Everything was right. And the sun was shining through the windows! After the race and while the turkey was cooking we all went on a walk to the park. It was a nice, warm day. I love AZ....

I was talking to my Dad the other day and he asked me how it was going. I said, "good... great... just really, really busy." And then I was trying to figure out why I was so busy.  And then I thought about how our days go. Monday : Everett has preschool starting at 8:30... then I pick him up, feed him lunch in the car, and then drop him off at his other school and then pick him up 2 hours later. We get home at 3. Then play.  Tuesday & Thurday : bootcamp at the park with neighborhood ladies in the morning while our kids play at the park. BEST THING EVER!!!!!!! It's free and fun and Everett plays amazing with the other kids. Then we run home, shower, eat lunch and take Everett to school. I usually go to the store or chiropractor on the way home and then eat lunch, feed Breckie, do a chore (laundry, water the garden, clean the house, make dinner...) and then go and get Everett. Then we have from 3 until Jake gets home to play.  Wednesday : Presch...
