Toy Story 4

Sometimes our life is too good.  We got back from Sedona Sunday evening and then Monday evening went to see Toy Story 4.  Our real estate agent/broker lady does a family movie night every year. Last year it was Incredibles 2.  We got a bag full of goodies, a kit to make our own forky, a movie gift card, and even won a toy story 4 lego set in a raffle! It's so fun to be able to enjoy movies together as a family. Roxy sat in her own seat all night and we all thought the movie was so cute!

Sedona Adventures During Regional

Saturday morning Jake had meetings but their was nothing scheduled for the rest of us.  After breakfast I tried encouraging/motivating the kids to go on the Baldwin trail again from yesterday. It wasn't too hot and we had 4 hours to kill until Jake was done.  But I lost to Nick Jr. and their desire to do nothing.  So I read a little. And then I had one of those "no way, we are here in Sedona where it is beautiful and the weather isn't too bad and we have nothing going on... we aren't just going to sit INSIDE and do nothing!" Everett was being a total punk so I decided we'd just go without him. He's old enough to be alone and I'm not going to let him ruin my adventurous spirit or the fun we could have.  The girls and I headed out to the trail and started hiking. When we got to a fork in the trail and we decided to go the other direction than yesterday. We could see tons of green trees (the kind that only grow near water...

Summer Regional #7 in Sedona

This year Summer Regional was in Sedona.  The itinerary stays the same every year so it's nice that the scenery was a little different! After the welcome meeting, we had dinner. Dinners the first two nights are always pretty meh. Like cafeteria food but a half step below that. We always joke about how bad they will be.  It seemed like Breckie and Rhett were on a date... it was nice for the kids to get to hang out with the Miller kids again.  Everett seemed to be feeling a little left out so I tried cheering him up with a selfie. It was only more embarrassing :) Roxy wanted to sit in the baby highchair and she ate 3 slices of cheese and drank her milk... she is our Dairy Queen for sure.  For real though, I think Rhett is in love with Breckie ;) Roxy tried a little flirting too :) Our hotel room was pretty sweet. It was a living room with a little dining table and tiny kitchenette plus the two queen beds. It was nice ...
