Reputation Roxy

Everyday isn't so bad.  Well, maybe for Roxy it is :) It's tough stuff learning how to move and get around.  She's got a little reputation at the gym. They say she's the trouble maker. That she gets into everything. I believe them and it's about time someone believes me! That girl is only still when she's sleeping.  Before long, she'll be up there with Breckie.

Call the Wambulance

This seems to happen a lot. Just after I got done saying how nice half days are, we go and have the worst half day ever.  Everett had a half day for parent/teacher conferences a couple Thursdays back. It was a nice day and I thought it would be nice to take the kids to Sonic and we'd sit outside for lunch and then take them to the park. We ordered Wacky Paks with special slushies with Nerds in them (but I accidentally ordered Jolly Ranchers in them 🙄) Everett was still hungry so we had to order twice and get an extra corndog. No big deal. (And yay! He actually tried and ate a corndog!)  Roxy ate a red sucker we found in the car and sat in the stroller to keep her content.  Then we stopped by the park to finish off our messed-up-by-mom slushies and play. Roxy was sticky with sucker and grass all over her, Everett was whiny that their wasn't anyone to play with, I was trying to eat my lunch I packed because Sonic doesn't like my insides, Roxy was climbing ...

Tats On Valentines Day

This week was like a giant tornado. Life was so scattered and all over the place. Miraculously we bought valentines (with tattoos) for school and got them ready just in time. Just like last year... Everett signing his name on them in the parking lot before drop off! While picking up Jake's valentine at World Market, Breckie found these glitter tattoo pens ("please please please please PLEASE!!!") so I bought them for her. Because I'm a softie.  When we got home we made a heart shaped cake and decorated it :) Roxy played with baby toys. 😅 Roxy is such a ball of shrieking fire these days that if we can go 5 minutes without her yell-crying, then we're good. So play away with the pokey things my dear!  Jake came home at 4 so we could see him before his Kiwanis meeting. We made homemade pizza for dinner with heart shaped pepperoni. I hope my kids think I'm the coolest mom and have the fondest memories of their childhood because pul...

Wreck-it Roxy

If there is something to be wrecked, she'll wreck it.

Applesauce Dishwasher

Roxy's refusal for food might be coming to a close.  She isn't even 9 months old and highly values her independence already.  She's never let us spoon feed her so the leftover Wacky Pak applesauce helped solve the problem.  You can see her love affair of food and independence begin :) Although food is a relatively new adventure for her, the dishwasher has been a love of hers since she discovered it.  I'm sure every picture looked the same to you but I thought they were all so cute. They have to be some of my favorites of Roxy 🍽
