New neighborhood, new neighbors, new friends.... camping with the new friends. See how that works??!
Well, this was one of the only chances we'd have to camp, so we took it!
I think everyone had a lot of fun. It was SO much work though. Jake and I talked about how much work it was for days and I think we're still trying to figure out if it was worth it!
Really, it was just Roxy and sleeping that were the hardest.
Roxy had a birthday while we were camping too! Maghen was the one who remembered the cake and a present! Such a good friend!!!
We're still going to celebrate her birthday later as a family but it was nice to celebrate her on her actual birthday!
We did go out to the lake one day... along with the rest of the forest!! It was like going to Walmart on a Saturday!
See the air mattress taco I slept on/in?! The last night it lost so much air that it was like sleeping on the ground with air pillows smushing you on all sides.
We came home dirty and nasty and ready for showers! Of course we're so glad we went. It's always more fun to do something than nothing... but sheesh it was a lot of work!!
