Sedona & Devils Bridge

I'm mega behind on blogging... because I'm trying to pick out a paint color. Its like the most agonizing decision of my life.

I know I struggle picking out paint colors. So I just went to the paint store and bought EIGHT gallons of the same paint color as our last house because I knew I liked it.

As it turns out, I don't like it in this house.

Sweet.

So that's how that's going :)

On our way home from our anniversary trip to Flagstaff, we drove the scenic route through Sedona on the way home and stopped and hiked the iconic Sedona hike. Devils Bridge.

The drive between Flagstaff and Sedona was GORGEOUS.

*the yellow hair did kind-of ruin all of the pictures...

When we got to the trailhead in Sedona (at 9 am) I started to get a little grumpy because it was wicked hot already.

I already missed the cooler temps in Flagstaff and didn't want to go back to being WAY TOO HOT. But life must go on.

We hiked to Devils Bridge and a kind fellow took our picture.

It was cool. I'm such a nature geek. I love to be outside and see the cool things. The pictures don't really show the giant arch under us very well... but in real life it was super cool.

Jake was going to die if he didn't find food as soon as we got back to the truck. But Sedona is a little quirky and we ended up at Whole Foods for lunch.

Natural grocery stores are super cool but they also smell kind-of funny. And they just have a certain vibe. So I got all weird and grumpy because I was feeling uncomfortable (and everything was like $200 at Whole Foods) but Jake found himself a healthy lunch and I ate a $400 salad.

I'm pretty sure the entire drive home we were trying to find a way to spend more time in Flagstaff. Hopefully we can camp there and spend more weekends exploring there.

Until then, we'll be dreaming :)
