Actually, that would be one of the worst options for me but Jake is pretty chill about birthdays.
For Jake's birthday we spent the day on the road; driving to Colorado for some Winter fun.
We stopped for food in Payson and Breckie would hardly eat. We even bought her mint ice cream to encourage her to eat because she was looking a little pale.
The drive was pretty with some leftover snow on the red rocks. The drive to CO is so blasted long but there's just not a better option.
Roxy was pretty antsy a fair share of the drive (which I TOTALLY GET! because I hate road trips too). Breckie had puked only a few miles after lunch. No wonder she was so pale. She puked again about an hour from our final destination. This time it got all over my leg. #iloveroadtrips
But we made it safely and it even started to snow a little towards the end of the trip. It was magical for a Winter-deprived Desert-dweller like me!
