We originally planned on driving back home to Arizona by this day... but decided to stay for a few more days. The kids love all the pets and farm life.
We took them into town, played at the park and rode bikes on the river trail.
Jake and I were still very much in the raw heartbreak mode...
It was a tender day and more layers were uncovered.
But it was all part of the process.
