Leaving Switzerland

The trip home was just as much of an adventure as the way there. Just as long and draining and mentally straining (if not more) than the way there.  We woke up early, went down to the lobby and grabbed our "sack breakfast" they prepared for us. An apple, muffin, yogurt, and two sandwiches identical to the sack lunches a few days ago... bread with mayo and thinly slices cucumber and cheese in one and mayo and one slice of meat in the other.  I ate my yogurt and saved the rest for later. It was going to be a long day.  We found the lobby "water closets" (as they are called) and one last time got a kick out of their gender identifications.  We boarded the bus and I was glued to the window the entire 3+  hour ride to the airport in Zurich.  I will miss Switzerland SO SO SO much. Trummelbach Falls & Farewell Dinner

Our last day in Interlaken we went to Trummelbach Falls. First, we ate breakfast at the fancy buffett and then got on the tour bus outside of our hotel.   We had signed up for this group outing months prior. Edward Jones offered two different "outings" in each location and you can do them if you want (it's less expensive than doing it on your own). The description sounded really cool (something about walking in a cave and seeing 10 waterfalls...) so we picked this one.  We got on the bus and drove about 20 minutes to the Falls. It was drizzly and a little chilly.  Its a family owned business and it's possible they live above their store?? That would be pretty awesome to own a canyon on waterfalls.  We walk over to the mountain and there is an elevator that takes you up to waterfall #6 It was pretty cool.  You keep walking up the stairs to waterfalls 7-10 And then you walk back down to see the ...
