My Life With Roxy

Roxy is such a hoot. I have enjoyed watching her little self grow up. She is so much like me in so many ways. For one, if she gets hurt and starts crying, it's best to just ignore it and walk away. If you ask her if she's "ok" she gets super mad and tells you to go away... lol, just like me. I still do that 😅

She is also our most brave and daring child... like yells "cannon ball" and jumps into the bathtub!

More fun facts about Roxy:

She is excellent at getting her boogers out of her nose, doesn't like when you draw attention to her, she's super independent, says "it's night o'clock" at night and "it's up time" in the morning.

The other morning after a bath, she put on some random socks, filled a little purse with Q-tips, and used Jake's shoe horn as her "camping stick" and she did her make up (basically drew a unibrow). A few days later she was dressed in nothing but a giant necklace, sunglasses, a starfish bracelet and Breckie's Tuesday socks.

She insisted that I wear them. She even took a picture of me!

At Costco we couldn't leave without the Halloween skeleton. When we got home they were best buds.

Later, I finally had a few minutes to clean the toilets. The hard water rings were getting so bad and I just learned about scoring sticks. So I went around cleaning and when I came back downstairs Roxy was on the counter "making cookies"

She sat side-saddle on her rocking sheep and says "I'm Mary". I was sick last week and had no desire to do anything but lay on the ground... but still Roxy dragged me into the playhouse. She made herself a comfy seat on the ladder and I thought it was so clever. When I took a picture she was mad, lol.

And because we're pretty much twins -30 years, she wanted to do a green face mask just like me :)

And one last thing... I came upstairs to see that Roxy had put Everett's elephant down for a nap. What a little cutie!
