A Touch Of Tyrell

February 8th we got our keys! It was a Thursday and I had been packing un-packable things into the van all day. Then I picked up Everett from school with the girls and the van loaded to the max.  You couldn't see out of any window and Everett got to ride in the front seat.  I'm sure it was a great site to see :) Then we pulled up to the model home to pick up our keys and two prospective buyers walked out, saw our van and said "oh wow, are you guys trying to find a place to live?" I'm still not sure if I want to laugh or cry... did we look that bad and desperate to get out of our rental??!  Probably. You couldn't pay me to re-live the past year of our lives.  We are just so thankful to be home. SO very thankful.

We got the keys to our new house today! It was like baby #4 for us. It's been a LOOOONG 9+ months but we are so happy to be on the home stretch.  We are packing and moving this weekend, we had visitors last weekend, we are going to Disneyland the day after we move (free tickets that are expiring...), more visitors a few days after we get back, I went on my first mentor engagement shoot last Saturday and got invited to be a second shoot at her next wedding in a few weeks, I'm still working 12-20 hours a week at Homegoods, and life just keeps on GOING.  We've been busy.  I refuse to let the blog slip though my fingers as life gets increasingly insane.  So here is Roxy :) She's the typical toddler that loves water and is owning up to the typical terrible twos as well. Since January got "overlooked" here is a look in pictures.  Jan 1st: The mall.  Dillards always has a sale and Jake (desperately!!) needed new work clothes... so the kids and I hung out while Jake shopped.  Jan 7th: Checking on the house.  Jan 8th: Roxy is cute and buckles herself in the carseat.  Jan 12-13: Drawings Breckie get's a new shopkins notebook and pen and draws our family (minus Roxy) and her BFF Rad.  Breckie: Mom, look!
